Upgrading
your Oracle Applications periodically helps ensure your continuing
return on your investment (while keeping your Oracle Support in force).
These upgrades can, at times, be a significant project requiring
significant resources.
ATS likes to view these upgrade projects
also as opportunities to first, realize additional return on your
investment through the implementation of application features to further
streamline or automate business processes and second, to reduce ongoing
maintenance costs through the streamlining and/or elimination of
existing customizations. We start each upgrade project by reviewing the
existing implementation and identifying these opportunities.
Upgrade services include planning and
development of a tailored checklist, upgrade execution, customizations
upgrade and/or streamlining, user testing and training, patch
application and management, user procedures documentation upgrade, and
post-upgrade user, technical, and dba support.
We have a 5-step approach to upgrades
which we have successfully used in Oracle Applications upgrades
beginning with Release 6.0 upgrades.
